Very good teacher - patient, good learning material and fun!
I have been teaching English and Spanish since 2003. I live in Rosario, the second biggest city in Argentina. It is 300 kms away from Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
I really like teaching Spanish to foreign students, it's a wonderful way of combining work and cultural learning. I not only like teaching grammar and vocabulary but I also like including the cultural background of my country if the students are interested in it.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a degree as a Teacher of English from the Instituto de Educación Superior N°28 Olga Cossettini from Rosario.
I graduated in 2003 but I started teaching private lessons and substituting in 2001. I have experience in teaching children, teenagers as well as adults. I obtained a degree for teaching business English in 2002 called " El Inglés para negocios en el Nivel Polimodal y en la Educación de Adultos" sponsored by the Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano.
I taught business English for many years in-company. I worked in John Deere and GM teaching English to managers from the finance and logistics sections. I have also a post-graduate degree in teaching Spanish as a second language from the Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano in Rosario.
I have also done an intensive course about "Enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera" in International House of Buenos Aires in January 2008. In 2021 I graduated from the Instituto de Educación Superior N°28 Olga Cossettini where I obtained my degree as an English-Spanish translator.
I have been teaching Spanish to students from different universities in USA through the Universidad Nacional de Rosario- AHA Study Abroad Programme as well as doctors and people related to health services from Brazil through the Instituto Universitario Italiano de Rosario.
Teaching Approach
My classes are dynamic and focused on the students' needs and interests.
For me, what my students do is really important. I believe grammar and vocabulary are the basis for a meaningful learning but so is speaking and listening. I combine all four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in order to provide a comprehensive method and also to actively engage my students with the content.
Functional language is also key to meaningful learning.
