About me - English
Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by languages and different cultures. I love traveling and discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning about their customs and traditions. This curiosity and passion for communication led me to become a language teacher. When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, watching films in different languages, and trying new cuisines. I also have a strong interest in music and history, which often inspire my lessons.
My name is ÁNGEL, and I am your language teacher. I am very excited to be here and to start this journey of learning together!
Qualifications & Experience
I have been teaching languages for the past 11 years, specializing in English and French. I hold two university degrees: a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education with a specialization in Foreign Language - English. Currently, I am pursuing a third degree in Spanish Language and its Literature, aiming to deepen my knowledge as a Spanish philologist. While I do not have formal qualifications or work experience as a Spanish teacher, I am a native speaker, which allows me to provide an immersive and authentic learning experience.
Additionally, I hold language certifications that validate my proficiency in multiple languages:
- English: C1
- French: B2
- Italian: B1
Teaching Approach
In addition to teaching various languages, I am passionate about helping students discover one of the most widely spoken languages in the world: Spanish. Through my lessons, I aim to introduce you to the richness of Spanish culture, its diverse traditions, and its delicious gastronomy. Language learning is not just about words—it's about experiencing and appreciating the world that surrounds it.
In my classroom, I strive to create a positive and interactive learning environment. I believe that learning a language should be engaging and practical, so we will use a variety of activities, including games and conversational practice in different languages. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, so don't be afraid to try and express yourself!
What Do I Expect from You?
I want you to feel comfortable and confident when speaking and learning new languages. Participation is key, so don’t hesitate to practice as much as possible. The more you engage, the more you improve! My main rule is to maintain mutual respect and always put in your best effort.
