About me - English
Hi there, my name is Julie and I am a primary school teacher from Cork in Ireland. I am also a mother of two children. I have a degree and post graduate degree in Education and I have 17 years teaching experience. I have competed substantial additional TEFL training and have taught students with English as an additional language from all over the world in a variety of settings. I am interested in learning languages myself and love to teach and learn about how languages are acquired. I have plenty of experience teaching all ages of children and adults also. I love teaching and will do all I can to help you to learn English.

I believe it’s important to get to know your students and their unique and specific needs and interests. I target lessons to each individual and break down concepts into manageable amounts. I will go at the pace the student needs and everyone is different. Fun and variety are so important so the student stays engaged and focused. My learner is central to the lesson so my approach will vary depending on who I am teaching.
