Teaching Approach
Teach Hong Kong Cantonese through textbooks published in Hong Kong.
For elementary level, it includes self-introduction, shopping, transportation, weather, and food. The chapters are relatively short and can usually be completed in 1 lesson, and it may take 2 lessons for intermediate and advanced levels.
After completing the course, you should be able to:
1. Master the Cantonese intonation system (initials, finals, and tones) which were released by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education in 1960.
