I am a native speaker of Arabic and a professional online Arabic, French and English teacher for non Arabs with 4 years of teaching experience. I have a BA in English language, and MA degree in English literature and civilization. I would be glad to help you with gaining fluency in Arabic and French.

I have many interests, I like reading books especially fiction, I am simply a bookworm. I like writing literary texts in Arabic, cooking, practising sport and learning language.

Moreover, literature has been always my passion. The well written works of prose and poetry did more than inspire, thrill, or sadden me. They changed me. They left me a different person. In my course, you will learn the basic language skills in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking + grammar & vocabulary. Culture mediated through the language is also an integral part of the syllabus. In the first few lessons, you will learn Arabic sounds and script while getting to know such things as how to greet, count, and introduce yourself in Arabic.

The syllabus goals:

• develop the ability to communicate effectively using Arabic.

• offer insights into the culture and society of countries where the language is spoken

In other words:

You will understand and respond to spoken language and written language

You will communicate in speech and in writing, showing knowledge of a range and variety of vocabulary, and applying the grammar and structures of Arabic accurately

What we will study in general:

The course will be devoted to oral dialogues and conversations about how basic interactions are run. In this respect, the course will cover different issues related to daily life such as: Greetings, introducing oneself and others, presenting family members, describing things and people, directions and locations in terms of space (as in the street), bargaining and ordering (in the market, café, restaurant...etc), weather, schedules (daily or weekly activities: permanent events), hobbies etc ( We will follow the two books at the same time )

I will also place much importance on the grammatical and structural aspects of the language, where you will cover tenses (present, past, and future) mainly using regular verbs, sentence structure (noun sentence and verb sentence) and some cohesive devices. The focus will be also on the writing and reading, for a better mastery of script and pronunciation. To reach such a goal, I will start focusing on, correct articulation and pronunciation of sounds, assimilating the letter positions to combine them into words and therefore acquire a set of very useful vocabulary items, forming meaningful sentences and ending by writing and reading simple texts related to the above mentioned conversational situations.

We will also have exercises, practices, revisions and exams..

Je m'appelle Meriem, j'ai 32 ans et j'habite en Algérie. Le Français est ma deuxième langue après l'Arabe. Je parle Arabe, Français, Anglais et un peu de Turc. J'enseigne les langues sur Verbalplanet depuis 2015.

أحبّ اللغة العربية وآدابها ، ورصيدي اللغوي ومهاراتي لا بأس بهما ، ولهذا، أحببتُ أن أقدّم خبراتي في هذا الموقع لأساعد الأجانب على تعلّم هذه اللغة الغنيّة جدّا بمفرداتها وقواعدها بالإضافة إلى ثقافتها
