Hello, I am Benita!

At the moment, I live in Sweden to finish my Master's studies.

I started working as an animator with KAZOU, a company that organizes language summer camps, where I received my "certificate of animator" in 2019.

When I arrived in Brussels four years ago, I started working at Level Up, a language school for non-native speakers of all ages. Here, I taught (and still teach online) English and Dutch.

In my free time, I love being creative (I can therefore really indulge myself in creating educational games around a theme), I am trying to become a runner, and I love traveling and learning new languages (currently advancing my Spanish to a C1 level and learning my first words in Swedish).

4 years of work experience at Level Up (language school) in Brussels, a school that focuses on learning languages ​​in a fun and interactive way, so that learning languages ​​can be a real hobby!

Certificate as an animator in youth work: obtained in November 2019, here I learned how to deal with children and young people in a creative way and subsequently also gave several language camps at organizations such as jocrevak and Level Up.

Are you a beginner dutch speaker? Of heb je al wat ervaring in het Nederlands maar wil je jouw nederlands tillen naar een hoger niveau? Then you are at the right address!

Mijn naam is Benita and I am a native dutch speaker. I have 4 years (and running) of experience in teaching in a language school in Brussels and am specialized teaching YOUNG, TEENAGE and ADULTS learners (non-native speakers) from ALL LEVELS!

What do my lessons look like?

For children they are heavily game based! New words are presented and repeated again and again with their favorite games. Memory, Pictionary, alphabet games you name it, we play it!

Once they have learned their first few words sentences are learned by little presentations without pressure. Can you present me your favorite food? Mijn favoriete eten is spaghetti!

My adult classes are heavily practice based with a presentation so every step of the way is visually presented in front of you. In a class we usually start with listening to a conversation and learning the new words and sentences with lots of different excersizes to really get a feel and understanding of tthe dutch language.

It also always ends with our own conversation. Wat is jouw naam? Wat is jouw beroep? So every week you really see and put to practice what you are learning.
