I've studied Japanese for 3 years by myself and never had much confidence in my conversational skills. After my first session with Yoshi, I feel exceptionally more comfortable and excited to converse in Japanese. Yoshi helped make me feel comfortable making mistakes and provided space and clarification on grammar rules to speak more naturally.
I honestly feel so lucky to have found an instructor like Yoshi. Someone who inspires confidence and encouragement to meet goals set out from day one.
🇯🇵 I was born and raised in Japan. I now live in the Netherlands.
📚 I was the company owner of a language school in Shinjuku, Tokyo for 8 years. We specialise in teaching Japanese from beginner to business levels for European and Asian ex-pats. I also taught Japanese as a headteacher in addition to training other Japanese teachers. I have a total of 18 years of teaching experience in the language industry. I also have work experience in the hotel/travel, media / TV production, and business consulting industries.
🌎 It is always interesting for me to teach people with different work experiences and backgrounds : )
Because I believe that teaching a language always opens my new world!
🙆♂️ Don't worry, if you don’t speak a word of Japanese. Everyone has to start from somewhere… In fact, I am learning Dutch now!
If you don't start learning now when are going to do it?
👍 Let’s enjoy learning Japanese and culture with me whether you are a beginner or advanced level!

Méthode d'enseignement
🧑🏫 I like using various worksheets as my teaching materials. But if students want to use textbooks, I use Genki, Marugoto, Minna no Nihongo, Japanese for Busy People, Tobira and others.
📕 I also create course plans for students according to their needs. For example, travelling, JLPT preparations, business meetings/mannerisms, or focused on conversation lessons.
💻 I have some experience in developing online teaching methods and designing new curriculums for Japanese language lessons.
