Professional and very nice lesson, as always. I was missing these lessons. I've been very busy, but whenever possible, I'll fit in a lesson, not least because conversation helps me in my work.
I`m 52 years old, live near Bern Switzerland, am originally from the east coast of the USA, and have lived in Europe for 18 years.
I`m married, have no children (although I had foster children in American). My husband is Swiss.
I enjoy teaching very much! It is really what I love to do!
In addition to teaching I have a big garden with vegetables, fruit trees and flowers and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. On the weekends we often cook and have our friends over to visit.
Traveling is also one of my favorite things and I`ve done quite a bit of it in Europe and America.
I would describe myself as a creative person who is open, friendly, loves people and the English language.

Méthode d'enseignement
I love teaching!
My approach is a combination of many techniques I have picked up with my years of experience and education.
I believe that people have different learning styles and I adjust my lessons to fit what the students need.
While being pragmatic in my approach my lessons are not boring. I often use humor, pictures, music, video and movements to reinforce the lesson material and make it fun and easy to learn.
I draw on techniques from a wide range of books, literature, contact with other teachers and regular teacher training along with input from my students.
It is very important to me to be not just skilled at teaching but professional too. I take my student`s goals very seriously and design their learning experience around their needs.
