My name is Gunhild Jensen and I am originally from the South of Denmark. I moved to New York City two years ago and now live in Queens with my American husband and our two cats.
In Denmark, I taught English, German and Danish as a second language. I have a Master's Degree from the University of Copenhagen and I completed my teacher certification in 2010.
I currently teach English, German and Danish to adult students at a language school here in New York City. The courses I teach are primarily online, and I enjoy the online approach immensely because it is both personal and flexible.
I have taught foreign languages to students with different cultural backgrounds, and I enjoy adapting my pedagogical approach to fit individual needs. I have taught a wide variety of classes, including preparation courses for various English proficiency exams like the Cambridge First Certificate Exam, the Cambridge Proficiency Exam and the IELTS test.
