Acerca de mí - Inglés
Hello everyone! It’s wonderful to meet those of you interested in learning Korean! I was born in Seoul, Korea, and earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Yonsei University. After working as a high school teacher for 20 years, I retired and moved to California. Here, I now teach Korean language to students at a Korean school. I have a deep passion for the Korean language and culture, and I look forward to sharing not only the language but also the rich culture and daily life of Korea with you.
I have 20 years of experience teaching high school social studies in Korea, where I developed a strong foundation in education. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Yonsei University, and I have continually built upon my expertise in teaching. Currently, I am teaching Korean at the Silicon Valley Korean School in California and am in the process of obtaining my Korean language teaching certification.
If you book your first lesson and begin studying Korean, you’ll experience a fun and effective learning journey with me!
With 20 years of teaching experience and a student-centered approach, I offer personalized lessons tailored to each student's goals and learning style. Beginners can feel confident as I guide them through practical expressions and essential grammar in real-life contexts, making it easy to grasp the basics. For intermediate and advanced learners, I incorporate engaging discussions on Korean literature, social issues, and culture to deepen language comprehension and expression.
Above all, I share my extensive knowledge of Korean culture and history, allowing you to naturally understand Korean society and culture alongside the language. Through our first lesson, we’ll set your learning direction and goals, helping you progress meaningfully in Korean!
