Hi there! My name is Kathy and I have been a tutor since 2019. I offer online tuition. I have taught pupils of all ages. I am from Manchester, UK. I have grown up in a multicultural society. I went to boarding school during my A levels years where I met people from around the world, and this continued when I was a university student. When I am not teaching, I volunteer for a local refugee charity, helping refugees settle into life in Britain. This overall has exposed me to all the languages around the world. I’m looking forward to teaching you English as a Foreign, Additional or Secondary Language!

Método de enseñanza
I aim to make sure that my private tuition is fun and relaxing as well as being very informative. Most importantly, it’s all about what’s best for the pupil. When I teach online, I make use of screen-sharing and the whiteboard. I would normally ask the pupils their current level of English and where they feel most confident and least confident in. I would ask how they are currently learning English and what websites they are using. When I teach adult learners, I would go on the British Council website and when I teach younger learners, I would go on BBC Bitesize.
