My name is Phước Đại, or you can call me Daisy. My Vietnamese name means to have a prosperous life.
I am a native Vietnamese speaker with a Southern accent. I am certified in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language. I am a friendly and encouraging person. I like to share my knowledge with others. I enjoy interesting talks, meeting new people and listening to others. One of my life passions is teaching Vietnamese to foreigners and local students. As a tutor, I understand that Vietnamese language learners have various learning styles, strengths, and needs. I find that humour, patience, and plenty of encouragement goes a long way. I do the lesson in a supportive atmosphere and encourage learners to build confidence so that they can overcome personal challenges and find real-life applications for their skills.
I offer the lessons in two options:
1) Structured Lesson: recommended for beginner, elementary level. I carefully prepare the curriculum with many daily conversations to help learners catch the core of the language. My goal is to make it possible for you to develop the language and to have conversations naturally in daily situations.
2) Discussed Lesson: recommended for upper-intermediate level. We can freely discuss chosen topics related to your learning needs. Or, we can learn new vocabs, idioms and grammar through analysing news, books, comics, articles together.
