Hi, my name is Alice. I am a native speaker of Italian and was born and raised in a town very close to Milan. I’ve been living in Germany for about twelve years now. I’m a teacher of Italian and Spanish working with teenagers and adults of all ages at a private language school. Recently I also started giving lessons online. I speak English fluently.

During all these years of teaching Italian and Spanish as a foreign language I understand that every person is different and has a unique way of approaching a new language: there are those who take lots of notes, those who don’t write anything down, those who want to speak right away, those who wait until they feel bit more confident, those who read and write lots of texts… There is not a correct or incorrect method!

For this reason, the first class is about getting to know each other, for me to understand what the goals of the students are and what their personality is like. This way I can prepare personalized lessons. If the student wants to learn Italian or Spanish for travelling or to be able to talk to his family or partner in their native language, then the lesson will be focused more on making conversation in everyday situations. On the other hand, if the student needs to prepare for an exam or if they just want to improve their grades in school, it will be more focused on grammar.

This way I’m able to accommodate each student’s needs and give them the input and help that they need to achieve their individual goals. After the free trial lesson, the students can give feedback and let me know what they liked or didn’t like about the lesson and what they would like to focus on. Of course, I also offer suggestions on how to proceed.

Durante tutti questi anni in cui ho insegnato l’italiano e lo spagnolo come lingue straniere ho imparato che ogni persona è diversa e ha una sua maniera di approcciarsi a una nuova lingua: c’è chi scrive molti appunti, chi non scrive niente, chi vuole parlare subito, chi aspetta di sentirsi un po’ più sicuro, chi legge e scrive molti testi... Non c’è un metodo giusto e uno sbagliato!

Per questo motivo la prima lezione è per conoscersi, e per me per capire quali sono gli obiettivi dello studente e anche la sua personalità. Così posso costruire delle lezioni personalizzate. Se lo studente impara l’italiano o lo spagnolo per viaggiare o per parlare con la sua famiglia o con un partner, allora la lezione sarà piú incentrata sulla conversazione nelle situazioni della vita quotidiana. Invece se lo studente deve prepararsi ad un esame o migliorare i suoi voti a scuola, sarà incentrata sulla grammatica.

In questo modo sarò in grado di soddisfare i bisogni di ogni alunno e dargli i suggerimenti e gli aiuti di cui necessita per raggiungere i suoi obiettivi. Dopo la lezione gratuita di prova, l’alunno potrà esprimere la sua opinione e farmi sapere cosa gli è piaciuto o no, e che su che cosa vorrebbe concentrarsi. Certo anch’io farò delle proposte su come continuare.

Non vedo l’ora di insegnare due meravigliose lingue, l’italiano e lo spagnolo, a sempre più gente nel mondo!

Dutante todos estos años en los que he dado clase de italiano y español como lenguas extranjeras he aprendido que cada persona es diferente y tiene su propia manera de acercarse a una nueva lengua. Hay quien toma muchas notas, quien no escribe nada, quien quiere hablar enseguida, quien espera sentirse más seguro, quien lee y escribe muchos textos... No hay una manera correcta y una manera incorrecta!

Por eso la primera clase es para conocerse, y para mi para comprender cuales son los objetivos del alumno y también su personalidad. Así puedo preparar una clase personalizada. Si el alumno necesita aprender italiano o español para viajar o para hablar con su familia o con su pareja, la clase estará centrada en la conversación en las situaciones de la vida cotidiana. Pero si el alumno tiene que prepararse para un examen, o mejorar sus notas en la escuela, en este caso estará centrada más en la gramática.

De esta manera podré satisfacer todas las necesidades del alumno y darle las indicaciones y las ayudas que necesita para alcanzar sus propios objetivos. Después de la primera clase gratis el alumno poodrá expresar su opinión y decirme que le ha gustado y que no, y en que le gustaría concentrarse. Claro, yo tambíen haré propuestas sobre como continuar.

Hallo, ich heiße Alice. Meine Muttersprache ist Italienisch, geboren und aufgewachsen bin ich in der Nähe von Mailand. Seit zwölf Jahren wohne ich in Deutschland. Ich arbeite als Italienisch- und Spanischlehrerin für Jugendliche und Erwachsene. Seit einiger Zeit unterrichte ich auch online. Ich spreche auch fließend Englisch.

Während all der Jahre, in denen ich Italienisch und Spanisch als Fremdsprachen unterrichtet habe, habe ich gelernt, dass jede Person anders ist und jeweils eine ganz eigene Methode hat, um sich einer neuen Sprache zu nähern: einige schreiben viel mit, andere schreiben gar nichts, einige möchten sofort loslegen und sprechen, andere warten, bis sie sich mehr trauen, manche lesen und schreiben viele Texte… Es gibt keine richtige oder falsche Methode!

Deswegen ist die erste Stunde eine Gelegenheit, um sich kennenzulernen, und für mich, zu verstehen, welche Ziele der Schüler hat und auch, etwas über seine Persönlichkeit zu lernen. So kann ich „maßgeschneiderte“ Unterrichtsstunden vorbereiten. Wenn der Schüler Italienisch oder Spanisch lernen möchte, weil er es für eine Reise braucht, oder um sich mit seinem Partner oder deren Familie in ihrer Muttersprache unterhalten zu können, dann wird der Unterricht mehr um Konversationen in alltäglichen Situationen gehen. Wenn der Schüler sich dagegen auf eine Prüfung vorbereiten muss, oder auch nur seine Noten verbessern möchte, dann würde der Schwerpunkt mehr auf Grammatik liegen.

Auf diese Weise kann ich den Bedürfnissen meiner Schüler gerecht werden und ihnen helfen, ihre individuellen Ziele zu erreichen. Nach der kostenlosen Probestunde können mir die Schüler direkt Feedback geben und mich wissen lassen, was ihnen gefallen hat und was nicht, und wie sie weitermachen wollen. Natürlich gibt es dazu auch entsprechende Vorschläge von mir.

Ich freue mich, noch viel mehr Menschen auf der ganzen Welt Italienisch und Spanisch beizubringen!
