Hello, my name is Valerie, I am German, 25 years old and currently living in Colombia. I like travelling. In Colombia I spend most of my time travelling in the countryside, working on fincas and learning about permaculture. I mainly travel to Berlin to visit my family and when the opportunity arises, I work there as an actress. However, as it is difficult to make a living from art, I am currently building up a second mainstay as a language teacher. I dedicate myself to this every day and would be looking forward to sharing it with you.

I was born in Berlin. But when I was six years old, I moved to Granada (Spain) with my parents. There I attended a Spanish primary school. That's why I speak Spanish fluently. However, I finished school in Germany, which is why I consider German to be my mother tongue.

For the last two years I have been living between Berlin and Colombia. This gave me the opportunity to consolidate both languages.

As I learnt the languages in a self-taught way, I did not design the classes as theoretical frontal lessons. Rather, the idea is to get people talking in a playful way and gradually integrate grammar. At the beginning, the focus will be on learning and expand vocabulary. The idea is to meet each other on eye level and try to create a relaxed and comfort atmosphere, as it is often the fear of making mistakes that inhibits speaking.

Hallo, mein Name ist Valerie, ich bin Deutsche, 25 Jahre alt und lebe derzeit in Kolumbien. Ich reise gerne. In Kolumbien bewege ich mich hauptsächlich auf dem Land, arbeite auf Fincas und lerne über Landwirtschaft und Permakultur. Ich fliege ab und an nach Berlin, um meine Familie zu besuchen und wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt, arbeite ich dort als Schauspielerin. Da es aber schwierig ist, von der Kunst zu leben, baue ich mir gerade ein zweites Standbein als Sprachlehrerin auf. Diesem widme ich mich jeden Tag und würde mich freuen, wenn ich es mit Ihnen teilen könnte.

Ich bin zwar in Berlin geboren, doch im alter von sechs Jahren zog ich mit meinen Eltern nach Granada (Spanien). Dort besuchte ich eine spanische Grundschule. Deshalb spreche ich fließend Spanisch. Die Schule beendete ich jedoch in Deutschland, deshalb bezeichne ich Deutsch auch als meine Muttersprache.

Seit zwei Jahren wohne ich zwischen Berlin und Kolumbien. Das gab mir die Möglichkeiten beide Sprachen zu festigen.

Da ich die Sprachen auch mehr auf einem autodidaktischen Weg erlernt habe, habe ich den Unterricht nicht als theoretischen Frontalunterricht konzipiert. Vielmehr ist das Ziel auf spielerische Weise ins Sprechen zu kommen und die Grammatik schrittweise zu integrieren. Zu Beginn liegt der Schwerpunkt dementsprechend auf dem Erlernen und Erweitern des Wortschatzes. Außerdem ist es mir wichtig das man sich auf Augenhöhe begegnet und zusammen eine entspannte und angenehme Atmosphäre schafft, damit der Unterricht nicht nur produktiv ist, sondern wir auch eine gute Zeit haben.

Hola, me llamo Valeria, soy alemana, tengo 25 años y actualmente vivo en Colombia. Me gusta viajar. En Colombia me muevo principalmente por el campo, trabajando en fincas y aprendiendo sobre la permacultura. De vez en cuando vuelo a Berlín para visitar a mi familia y, cuando surge la oportunidad, trabajo allí como actriz. Sin embargo, como es difícil vivir del arte, actualmente estoy construyendo un segundo ... como profesora de idiomas. Me dedico a ello todos los días y me encantaría poder compartirlo con ustedes.

Nací en Berlín, pero a los seis años me trasladé/mude a Granada (España) con mis padres. Allí asistí a una escuela de primaria española. Por eso hablo español con fluidez. Pero terminé la escuela en Alemania, por eso considero que el alemán es mi lengua materna.

Llevo dos años viviendo entre Berlín y Colombia. Esto me dio la oportunidad de mejorar/consolidar ambos idiomas.

Como también aprendí los idiomas de manera más autodidacta, no he diseñado las clases como lecciones teóricas frontales. Más bien, el objetivo es iniciarse en el habla de forma lúdica e integrar gradualmente la gramática. Al principio, por tanto, la atención se centra en aprender y ampliar el vocabulario. También es importante para mí que creemos juntos un ambiente seguro, relajado y agradable para que las clases no sólo sean productivas, sino que también lo pasemos bien.
