Professor Balati is an amazing professor. He is very patient and very encouraging. I have a French-speaking background but due to my fluency in another language, I am often confused as to what is French. He knows how to engage with you to make you feel comfortable. He also incorporates and suggests the use of a variety of tools to assist in building fluency. I have found these tools to be most helpful in conjunction with his teaching style.

My name is Alexander, I am fifty five ,I am French and I live in France.
I have always been fascinated by language learning and I was still a teenager when I started exploring the world to test my knowledge. Thus I managed to improve my fluency in English first and then in Spanish. Sharing this experience quickly became obvious and I started teaching French and the foreign languages I knew to pay for my studies.
All my life , a stay in a new country has always given me the opportunity to discover the language spoken there.Such a rewarding experience allowed me to understand clearly my learners difficulties in order to help them better in their learning.

In 1992 I passed a master’s degree in French as a foreign language at Paris Sorbonne university and I went to Reading in England to teach French to students who were taking the A Level. This was a good opportunity to improve my pedagogy for young learners.
Ten years later I came back to Paris to teach French at an immigrant reception center. Again I learnt a lot and was able to improve my teaching skills working with people who were so different from my English pupils.
Since 2012 I have been working as an online freelance tutor , teaching both young students and adults of all age learning French for professional or personal reasons.

For me the learner is at the center of the learning process and I adapt my teaching according to the level, the objectives and the progress of each one.
Generally speaking I use a communicative and interactive pedagogy through which I encourage my learners to continue their efforts.
Je m’appelle Alexandre , j’ai cinquante cinq ans ,je suis Français et j’habite en France.
J’ai toujours été passionné par l’apprentissage des langues et j’étais encore adolescent quand j’ai commencé à parcourir le monde pour mettre mes connaissances à l’épreuve. C’est ainsi que j’ai perfectionné ma maîtrise de l’anglais d’abord et de l’espagnol ensuite.L’idée de partager cette expérience s’est imposée naturellement et j’ai commencé à enseigner le français et également les langues étrangères que je maîtrisais pour financer mes études.
Tout au long de ma vie , chaque séjour dans un nouveau pays m’a donné l’opportunité de découvrir la langue parlée sur place . Cette expérience enrichissante m’a permis de mieux comprendre les difficultés que rencontrent mes apprenants et de pouvoir les aider plus efficacement dans leur apprentissage.

En 1992 j’ai passé une maîtrise d’enseignement du français langue étrangère
à l’université Paris Sorbonne et je suis parti à Reading en Angleterre pour enseigner le Français à des élèves qui préparaient le A level. J’ai ainsi pu perfectionner ma pédagogie au contact de ces jeunes élèves.
Dix ans tard je suis revenu à Paris pour enseigner le Français dans un centre d’accueil pour étrangers et découvrir un public d’apprenants très différent.
En 2012 j’ai commencé à enseigner en ligne aussi bien à des étudiants qu’à des adultes en formation professionnelle.

Pour moi l’apprenant est au centre du processus d’apprentissage et j’adapte mon enseignement en fonction du niveau, des objectifs et de la progression de chacun .
D’une manière générale je mets en œuvre une pédagogie communicative et interactive à travers laquelle j’encourage mes apprenants à poursuivre leurs efforts.

Siempre me ha fascinado el aprentizaje de idiomas y aún era un adolescente cuando comencé a explorar el mundo para poner a prueba mis conocimientos.
Así logré mejorar mi fluidez primero en inglés y luego en español.La idea de compartir esta experiencia surgió de manera natural y comencé a enseñar francés y los idiomas extranjeros que sabía para pagar mis estudios.
Toda mi vida , un viaje en un nuevo país siempre me ha dado la oportunidad de descubrir el idioma a que se habla allí.Una experiencia tan gratificante me permitió comprender claramente las dificultades de mis alumnos para ayudarlos mejor en su aprentizaje.

En 1992 aprobé un máster en enseñanza del francés como lengua extranjera en La Sorbonne y fui en Reading en Inglaterra para enseñar francés
a alumnos de secundaria. Así pude perfeccionar mi pédagogía con jóvenes.
Diez años mas tarde regresé à Paris para enseñar francés en un centro de acogida para extranjeros y descubrí un público de estudiantes muy diferente.
En 2012 empecé a dar classe en línea tanto a alumnos como a adultos en formacíon profesional.
