TEFL qualified and have over 5 years of experience teaching English. I am beginner-friendly. I am a native English speaker, with a US accent, and I am also a fluent speaker in Afrikaans. I have tutored many different ages, from children to retired adults with varying skill levels. (A1-B2). I give immediate and effective feedback during lessons so that you can improve and grow your skills as we work together.

Each lesson will be focused on your needs and what we can do to improve your skills and fluency. Building vocabulary is a very important step in becoming a fluent speaker. My lessons ensure that each time you have the opportunity to learn and use new words. If you want someone to talk to and practice conversation in English with, we can do that! These lessons will be focused more on fluency when speaking, pronunciation and building your vocabulary to make it easier to converse in English.

For grammar lessons, I will construct a long-term or short-term lesson plan based on your needs and goals. The important thing for me is to make sure that you feel satisfied, after each lesson and that you have learned something new, whether it be grammar, vocabulary or new phrases.
